Meet the beautiful big cats of Dartmoor Zoo, with a day spent getting a unique insight into the life of a keeper and getting close to some of nature’s most intimidating predators.

Not for the faint hearted, your jam-packed day will involve interaction with five different species including lions, tigers and jaguars. Your day will entail every aspect of care, beginning with an induction and safety briefing, before food preparation, feeding, helping out with daily events and working with the animals. Throughout the day, you’ll also see the likes of wolves as you work alongside the passionate zookeepers.
